Dandruff vs. Dry Scalp

Omg! I'm so sick of these white flakes in my hair...i put oil on it, but it doesn't go away...or i put oil on it, but i loose all the body in my hair style. WAIT! Do you know the difference between dry scalp and dandruff? First you need to know which one you have in order to treat it. They can both look alike if you don't know what you are looking for. Dry scalp is simply skin shedding from not drinking enough water, the scalp being dehydrated, etc. Dandruff is a bacterial infection that does not go away with just oil and or grease. Danduff is a mixture of oil and sweat and can appear yellowish. You must use an anit-dandruff shampoo to kill the dandruff first. Putting more oil and grease on top will not help...it actually makes it worse!
